This coffee comes from the town of Sidikalang, in northern Indonesia, just west of Lake Toba.  It provides ideal conditions for growing the highest quality coffee.  We are offering this coffee roasted to a full city plus level currently, drawing from it a deep sweetness and heavy body.  Flavor notes are bittersweet chocolate, sweet tobacco, and almond.  So beautiful!

The Wahana Estate purchases coffee from several local farmers and directly supports their success through a support centre, worker housing with potable water and sanitary facilities, safety and training programs, free healthcare, and free education.  Wahana Estate has achieved Rainforest Alliance Certification (RFA) and practices sustainable agriculture in many ways!
